1. The materials used in the Villa Savoye is prosaic materials; such materials were used during this time in building houses for lower-class Parisians. Although the house is designed for the affluent, plaster walls and iron handraills are used.

2.PETER ZUMTHOR's THERMAL BATHS. VAL. in SWITZERLAND.

The building is made from local Valser quartzite and concrete. Water, light and to some extent steam and heat, add to the definition of areas within the ritual of the bath.

Task of Arch1101

The general idea of this design is to explore the connection between different polygon. And forming a Complete structure. The structure can be designed according to its function.

This is Tadao Ando's Church of Light. The connection between building and nature light is most interesting thing of this church. The nature light throught this Cross-shaped incision to form the holy cross, it is perfect imply the meaning of this building. And it emphasize the function of building.

The beautiful scenery of nature is unbelievable, the shape and the colour of this cloud forming the UFO . Because the rendering of light , the cloud have administrative levels feeling.
